Who we work under
PCA Ground Engineering Queensland Government Stanwell Yurika

PUMPD works as a specialist subcontractor. We’ve sprayed and pumped on TMR range works at Kenilworth and Mt Nebo, downslope stabilisation at Cunninghams Gap through PCA Ground Engineering, the Swanbank and Tarong BESS builds for Stanwell with Yurika, and Lismore City Council flood restoration packages through Oz Stabilisation. Referees available on request.

PUMPD Concrete & Shotcrete runs high-pressure concrete pumping and wet-mix shotcrete out of the Sunshine Coast, from Caloundra to Gympie and across South East Queensland.

Pools, retaining walls, basements, civil structures and slope stabilisation, for builders, civil contractors, pool builders, landscapers and homeowners. Booked direct, confirmed the afternoon before, documented on the day.

Two John Winn WP60 Spraymaster line pumps, high-pressure hose built for 40MPa+ mixes, and runs past 100 metres, so the awkward placements are ordinary work here rather than a special job. EFNARC accredited on the robotic nozzle, QBCC licensed, $20 million public liability.

How a Pumpd job
actually runs

The process01 / 05
01
01
Booked direct
Straight to Blake, not a call centre. A confirmation lands the afternoon before, so your crew, your formwork and your concrete supplier are all working to the same time.
02
On site early
Set up with the line run before the first agitator arrives on site, so the first load goes straight into the hopper instead of sitting in the agitator bowl. That’s where most pours lose their morning.
03
The hard access
This is where the job is won. Long line runs around the house, through the garage, down a batter you can’t get a truck near. Awkward access is everyday work for us.
04
The difficult mix
40MPa+, 20mm aggregate, fibrecrete, decorative and chute mixes, pumped the full length of the run. On spray days, thickness, rebound and cover are checked as we go.
05
Clean exit
The job documented on the day, washout contained and the road pressure-washed before we leave. We arrive to a clean site and leave it that way, like we were never there.
Who runs it

Where the difficult
work comes from

PUMPD is owner-operated out of the Sunshine Coast by Blake Andreas, with 10+ years’ hands-on experience across residential, commercial, mining, tunnelling and civil work. High-pressure pumping and wet-mix shotcrete for slabs, pools, walls, basements, civil structures and slope stabilisation, including tight-access runs a truck can’t get near.

We talk to builders, suppliers and site teams properly, so everyone on the day is working to the same plan.

Great work from the boys at PUMPD. I prepped a plunge pool and they were in and out in 3hrs, great price, fantastic finish! Very professional. Highly recommend.

Blake Andreas is a breath of fresh air in the concreting space. He provides great communication from start to finish. We had a concrete cricket pitch installed, and the boys were tremendous. I have no hesitation is recommending Blake.

The crew & I recently had our project pumped in by the boys at PUMPD and I could not be happier with the service! From the booking to the confirmation message the afternoon before, they were great to have on board with us. They even cleaned their mess out on the road with their pressure cleaner leaving nothing for us to pick up for them! Highly recommend these boys!!

These guys were booked on late notice and smashed the job in for us, very neat and tidy. 10/10 would recommend.

Tight blocks, long runs, steep ground. If a truck can’t get near it, we run line to it.

Frequently
asked

Anything not answered here, call Blake on 0434 866 490 and ask him directly.

What is shotcrete, and how is it used in pool construction?+

Shotcrete is concrete sprayed at high pressure through a hose and nozzle onto the steel, rather than poured into formwork. For pools it builds a dense, one-piece shell that can be shaped to a custom design, then cut and finished by hand.

What’s the difference between a line pump and a boom pump?+

A boom pump swings an arm over the pour, so the truck has to get close and needs room to set up. A line pump sits wherever there is space and sends the concrete through hose. That is what makes tight blocks, long runs and steep ground possible.

Do you spray pools on the Sunshine Coast and in Gympie?+

Yes, and further. We spray pool shells, plunge pools, spas and mock rock across the Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay, Brisbane and Gympie, and other areas by arrangement, working with pool builders, builders, landscapers and homeowners.

What is shotcrete used for?+

Pools and spas, retaining walls, basements, batters and cut faces, tunnels and portals, and mock rock. It suits any job where formwork is impractical or costs too much: vertical faces, curves, tight access and steep ground.

Why choose PUMPD for your project?+

Owner-operated, with Blake’s 10+ years’ hands-on experience behind every job. Every operator is trained and signed off by Blake before running a pump, and works to the same standard: confirmed the afternoon before, documented on the day, site left clean. QBCC licensed, $20M public liability, and an EFNARC-accredited robotic nozzleman.
